While I back out of my drive way or a parking spot and then go to cut the wheel back I hear what i think is rubbing coming from the front driver side fender well. Any ideas?

Tie rod possibly? Any rub marks on the tire or splash guard?

Why buy something sensible with a RWD setup when you can build something really stupid, like this

None that I could notice. I was thinking maybe tie rod ends because at first it sounded like a pop but now I think it's more of a rubbing.

Maybe take it in somewhere and have it inspected. Either that or pop the tire off and see if there's any play

Alright well I jacked the whole front end up again and rechecked and on my front passenger tire I grabbed it on the top and bottom and can wiggle it in and out that way as well as grabbed it on the sides and can wiggle it in and out that way to.

So wheel bearing or tie rod end maybe?

If you have 50,000 miles or more on your car then the tie rods are probably worn. Take it to Sears and they will check the alignment and front end parts for free.

car has about 40k. Seems kinda early for such a problem. And btw, Thanks for the brackets Dom Rome, i just ordered them from you like 2 weeks ago.

40,000 miles isn't new so anything is possible, specially if you drive on rough roads. Sears or most of the other shops will check the front end for free, that way you know if something is wrong. Thanks for the bracket purchase Phil!
