Once again, you can thank the hip-hop culture for the change of meaning when using the "N" word. As used with an "A", it's more or less like saying "my friend", or "my boy". In reality, yes that's how I talk. I use it with an "A" a lot, but that's how I talk. Not racist in any way, nor am I black. It's how we communicate, but on here I type differently out of respect. To me, and no offense to you Milestone, as I have worked with many older black men who are like you in taking offense to that word, yes the older generation have conflicts with that word ending in "A", no matter who uses it. But, to these younger cats who want to holler racism when somebody white uses the word, is ignorance. But when you have a younger cat talkin' with his boys sayin' "my ....A", then a white person says this and they get offended, maybe they are the racist ones? Never once have I heard an older black man use that word, and I guess rightfully so they have a point. It's just a touchy subject for some, but like I said with the older black men I can understand why.
