So yesterday i went and picked up a set of ssei rims with 235-55-17 tires on them. Today i noticed that when theres people in the back something rubs when i turn. Do i need to roll my fenders, or is it something else thats rubbing?

Are your back springs broke...these cars are known for the springs breaking at the top...make sure the rear springs wrap around to the back behind the strut. If one side breaks it effects both sides

Don't let fatasses ride in your car. Problem solved.

In seriousness though those tires are more than likely to tall or wide and thats why you are hearing rubbing.

235. 55 17 isn't that much bigger. However stock tire height is 60 with 16 inch rims. You added an inch to the rims but only took off 5mm from the tire height. They may be sittin to big...try getting 45 or 50 series tires

Actually the middle number is a percentage of the tread width area, so in this case 55% of 235mm. The stock 17 size is 225/55 so that's a difference of about ~10mm in overall diameter vs stock 17's and a difference of about ~14mm vs stock 16's.

In any case I don't see how those could be rubbing unless you have suspension problems or the offset on the wheel is not in the tolerated range...
