Hey everyone,
I did some work on my GP recently and noticed that my tie rod end's bushing is pretty well shot, is this something that can easily be replaced at home? I just don't want to throw off my alignment when I do it. If I did it I assume when I put the replacement on it'd have to be the same distance along the threads as the old one. Does anyone know if this shouldn't be done that way?

You can get it pretty close, but you're going to need an alignment to get it exact. I'd only guesstimate to get it close enough to get it to the alignment shop.

Alignment shop for me is about 50km away. But I guess this could be a parking lot job. :P
