I got to thinking about using GM wheels [or other OEM's].
IIRC,this idea was covered before.
I've kind of got it narrowed down to a couple of ideas.
Here's one:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/17-Rims-Chevrole ... #vi-ilComp

Another:

http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1-Wheel-TORRENT- ... 2505wt_952

My questions are:

1. Will these bolt on all four corners with 235's on them?

2. Anyone tried these before on a G/P.

3. If so,how did they look?

I was leaning towards the Torrent rims, but lately I'm going more towards the Equinox rims, although they are a bit "angular".
The Saturn Vue rims are kind of cool too.
BTW,if you didn't know, the Torrent/Equinox/Vue are all "sister" cars and apparently the rims all interchange amoung the group.
Thoughts ????

i have thought about it too. but i would get them from a yard so the price would be cheap. if you buy them new you could probly get aftermarket for similer price. there where a couple other factory wheels that i figured would look decent too.

There was a guy that put the Torrent wheels on a GP and they looked good.

I like those better than the Torrent wheels. The Equinox wheels look good too.

I'm guessing they're a straight bolt on?
There used to be a thread about wheel specs and what fit and didn't.
I didn't have much luck finding it.
Any ideas where it is?

Those will fit your car. I saw them on a Grand Prix.

Ah here it is:

suspension-brakes-wheels-and-tires-f18/some-helpful-wheel-and-tire-info-t345.html

I'm guessing that the bolt patterns and the center bore size all interchange?
IIRC,the bore size is 70.3 mm [2.767"] along with the 5X115 mm bolt pattern.
Things like backspacing, offset and rubbing do concern me though.

I also think those are the best looking. And i would only use them for summer too beause factory chrome peels easily, and traction with 18" tires wouldnt be that great

TBH,I'm partial to the Chevy Equinox rims [in my first post].
It's kind of cool to see what options are available to us.
I would go with a clear coated, polished Aluminum though.
Chrome plated anything doesn't really turn me on.
You can also get tire imbalance problems with them too.
Of course,I'm thinking summer wheels as well.
