I've certainly thought about that for my GTP. It sure would make jacking it up alot easier.

That's the joke...
The Trailer Hitch connects the sub-frame from left to right

I'm sick of having to rent the Home Depot Truck every time I buy something for the house...
I want to be able to get mulch or take garbage or maybe tow a jet ski...
And finally,... I couldn't get my "Red Neck" membership keg tapper without it or buying a pick-up truck!

Take it off when you go racing or when its not being used to save weight or when you go in a long trip..

It wouldn't be worth the trouble...
The thing weighs like 50/60lbs...
.05sec max lost in a 1/4mile
As for long trips... Full packed trunk, Lisa, Me, Allison, Kaine, maybe Kita (110lbs Pit Bull)
I'm thinking towing a trailer for our gear beats saving 60lbs of trailer hitch?

tell ya what it really helps getting used to a lowered car after driving 3 (for a total of about 7-8 years) it turned into

jack point
subframe connector
BUMPER SAVER
one more thing to keep the sleeper look.
gives me a good thing to bag on someone with. ( ie.. your so slow i should pull you so you can keep up)

(it was on the car when i got it and i havent found enough negitives yet to take it off)
