Alright, so since I bought the car (2 months ago) I have noticed a pulsing/shuddering felt in the steering wheel when braking along with the normal squeel when pads are running low so it's time for new pads and rotors!

Was wondering what you guys feel is the best bang for the buck in this regard. I'm only going to be replacing the front set for now (the backs seem fine). I've been looking at NAPA's rotors and these rotors seem like a good product along with These pads

Any thoughts before I pull the trigger?

Don't know if you pulled the trigger yet or not but I got napa pads and rotors all the way around on my car and the thing squeels like a pig at the slaughter house.

I did - installed them last week and they are amazing. Perfect stopping distance, no squeel at all, no shaking.

Couldn't be happier for 150$

I used to be a big fan of Morse (now friction master) ceramic brake pads, now I'm a firm believer in Hawk HPS pads. I put them on my SS recently with d/s rotors and I love their performance over stock. As far as rotors go, get slotted rotors, or slotted and dimpled rotors. I wouldn't have drilled/slotted rotors right now if I hadn't gotten such a good deal on them, my next rotors will be slotted only.

I'd have recommended PowerSlot rotors and Satisfied GS5/6 brake pads. Hate to break it to ya, but I'm just not a big fan of "big box" aftermarket (CQ, Napa, AZ) brakes. I've had some bad experiences, and brakes are NOT an area in which to cut corners...especially on a car modified to go fast.
