Good day,

It is time to finally upgrade my struts to either the AGX or to the Bilsteins HDs and I am going to make some purchases over the next few weeks and wanted to get some final opinions. Most people seem to think that the Bilsteins would be best (beyond coilovers), then followed by the AGX struts. Would there be any real advantage to have the adjustabilty of the AGXs? I already have the 97-03 LCAs, so I am good to go on the AGXs.

Also, I would be replacing the strut mounts as well. I have Don Rome's brackets and STBs and wanted to know if anyone else has replaced their mounts and was still able to use his brackets. Stock strut mounts are very expensive and I read that the Monroe replacement mounts may not allow the use of the brackets because those mounts do not allow enough thread space for the bolts, once the brackets are in place.

And for those of you wondering.....will I lower?? I decided against it and will be using my stock springs. I already have vibrations and lowering will only make things worse.

This will be my last major upgrade and will be saving for a new vehicle (maybe a 2013+ Genesis Coupe if they do not screw up the front end look too much, or a used GTO) LOL

any thoughts? opinions?

Honestly if you are seriously thinking of getting another car, I don't recommend modifying the car much more. Your not going to get that money back when you sell the car.

+ 1 for GTO -look qt the G8's too :P

Understood, but I think I will end up keeping the GP, even when I do get a new car.....which by the way will be at least 2 years.....I just need to start saving for it :)
