found these listed on craigslist for $400, they are from an 05 Pontiac Montana SV6. They sure look an awful lot like the rare 5 spoke rims from the 04 Special Edition GPs. But before I drop the $$ for them I need you guys' opinion, are they the same wheel? the Montana SV6 wheels are described by the seller as: 17"x6-1/2, 5X115mm, aluminum. But GM Parts Direct lists the GP SE wheels as 18" alloy. I dont have any part numbers or anything helpful like that, just comparison pics. if it helps, the RPO code for the Montana SV6 with these wheels was N85 and the Special Edition GP with these wheels was RPO code B2E

Tell me what you guys think....are they the same?

-thanks to Josh(jcortina) for the pics of the GP SE wheels

If one is 17", and the other 18:, obviously, they are different. They may have the same style, but if the size is different, that will mandate a different part number.

yeah but you know how people make mistakes or assume things when listing items for sale... especially if they're not familiar with this platform. 17" or 18", either way thats a nice design and im not gonna whine about a 1" difference. more concerned with the design/style of wheel. guess i was just hoping you guys could take a second look and confirm what im hoping...that they are the same design. I will see if i can get a better pic of the wheels...

1" wouldn't break that deal for me. They'll bolt onto your car and that's all that matters and most people will think they're the SE wheels anyway.

Maybe GM did the same sort of thing they did with the Azteks and the Grand Prix. They share the same rims too.
