Where did you guys get your strut braces from? whats the best without breaking the bank? Its for a 2004 CompG GTP

I got mine from Morads for something like 10-15 bucks a piece (I picked them up though but I think shipping is another 10 bucks or something like that). I still need to get some Don Rome brackets though. Making your own bracket is always a possibility also if you don't want to spend the extra coin. ZZP has STB's for $70.

Hey there,

I got mine from Don Rome, plus his install brackets. Look for his website in the parts section of GPONA. His brackets make them easier to install!

so the 2 reasonable priced braces are GM and ZZP?

i didnt see DR made a brace but only the brackets. is this true? and are they only there for installation purpose?

I bought both the brackets and the STBs for both front and rear from Don. I believe he uses GMPPP STBs.

Yes,the brackets are "adaptors" for install purposes.
They do work very well. :smile:

I buy them from gmparts.com for $35 shipped for 2 bars. They are a Pontiac dealer and have fast shipping if they have them in stock. Lately they haven't had them in stock, so it might take a couple weeks to get them.
