Hey Guys. Anyone have the KYB AGX Struts in the rear of their GTP? I am finding it hard to adjust them because I do not know where the indicator marker is to show which setting I have it on. Anyone have any pointers?

There is a little white marker on the strut near the nob you turn and whichever number is lined up with the marker is the setting your on. Sometimes when you install the strut the marker isn't visible when looking in the trunk. If this is the case get a small mirror and look for it. If it really bothers you you can uninstall and reposition the strut so you can see the marker when looking in the trunk.

There's a notch in the shaft that holds the bar the knob turns to change the setting.
( ^^^That's a mouthful ^^^ )
That notch is your orientation marker.
My drivers side strut is "12 o'clock" my passenger side strut is "3 o'clock"
Trust me, it DRIVES ME NUTS!

I'll try to get pictures in the mirror tomorrow & post them.

Hope this made sense

So most likely the white notch is in front so it cannot be seen from inside the truck? A mirror sounds like my best shot then to double check. How do you guys like the AGX and what setting do you run them on? Which springs are you running? I am running the B&G Lowering springs and it sits pretty! Please advise.

With the roads out here near Chicago the way they are, I am not sure I could safely run above level 2, although I am sure it would feel good. I run 1 in the front and 1 in the back, it rides stable but comfortable as well.

I usually just guess :P I haven't really bothered with a mirror, but I'll go ahead and check now for the hell of it.
