Hey guys,

I'm trying to decide whether or not to new buy rims and tires. I have an 04 GT with 16-inch stock rims on it and I find that it handles like a slug. Money is kind of tight but I need new tires anyway, so if I want to improve handling a bit can I get away with just new tires with a stiffer sidewall or are the standard 16 in tires just too big to stop them from buldging? Anyone have suggestions on tires that would have a nice stiff sidewall at 16inches?

Are there any other upgrades I could do to tighten up the handling and make it a bit sportier?

Thanks

PM Don Rome for q's on finding out whether or not his is still selling the STB's or where to get them.. but I recommend his brackets because they eliminate the need to cut holes in the car. Estimated cost 150-200.

STB's good tires, and bigger swaybars will make your car feel much better.

Installing heavy duty rear trailing arms, a CompG rear swaybar, along with the strut bars and brackets I sell will improve the handling quite a bit. If you don't want to get new wheels stiffer sidewall tires will make a big difference too, and they won't hurt the ride that much. Check out my website at www.drcustomparts.com when you have time.
