Hopefully this week I will get my wheels all cleaned up and ready to be put back on. I need to polish them up, since they have been in my Dad's basement all winter, at least they have been in boxes. Once I get them polished up, I will hook up with a friend of mine. And we will switch them up with the stockers, and do the typical rotate and balance as well. I can't wait to get them on, I like my stockers, but I really llike my new ones, and I only got to have them on for a couple of monts before I took them off for winter.

I am thinking of possibly getting some steelies for the winter and possibly selling my stockers. But I haven't had the chance to look into steelies yet. Then that way if anything happens it would be a cheap steelie wheel that would get damaged and not a chrome wheel. And I know people like the chrome 5-stars, and mine are in pretty good shape, might be able to sell them.

Laura we just got hit with 6" of snow on Sunday, so you should hold off for a few more weeks. I know you want to get them on, but I'm sure you don't want to get caught in a snowstorm. I always waited until the temps stayed above freezing for a week or two, then it was safe to put the chrome wheels on.

Don, that sucks 6" of snow and it's spring. We only got snow once this winter....... Where we live we are on a line, so we seem to get pretty much the wintery mix, yuck. It's not too often that we get the pretty snow, Kendra gets more snow than I do since I live closer to DC. Same thing for anybody that lives in the Germantown, MD area. They get more snow than we do. But yet Germantown is about 20 miles from me. I'm not sure exactly where Kendra lives, but I would assume south.

I would totally be surprised if we would get any snow, but I am behind already. So, it doesn't look like they are going to get put on until the end of next week or the end of the following week. The Cherry blossom festival that goes on every year here in Washington, DC is in full swing. The blossoms are blooming, the flowers are coming up. The azalea bushes in my neighborhood are starting to get their buds. The trees are getting some leaves, and color back to them. And the birds are back. I know this, because they bombed the crap out of my car Monday night  ……. But as it looks I won’t be getting them on for another week or two anyways. So that will give me time to get them nice and clean, and possibly get some nice custom decals from Talia for the center caps…

You shouldn't have to worry about snow then, I thought you were further north than you are. I went to D.C. once, and it was so darn hot & humid in June that we couldn't sleep in the tent. So we ended up getting a motel room with air con just so we could sleep. It was miserable during the daytime too, that was the worst vacation I ever had. Does it get that hot & humid in the summer where you live?

Humidity is the word......... That's the thing it does get hot temperature wise, and then combine the humidity. In the summer we can top upper 90's and sometimes a few 100+ days, and then factor in that humidity and we are screwed down here. This mornings temps are foggy, and 52 and that was at 0530.

Yes, if you want to vacation in a tent around here, which we do a lot of. You must do it in either the spring or fall. Not in the summer, as you now know that was not the time to go camping. Because you will suffer the wrath of sweat, sweat, and more sweat........

By the way I live 20 minutes from DC. So next time you want to come down here and sweat, and see some of the new museums here look me up.
