So while on the way to the garage to install I passed a black grand prix with an SD hood and a left brake light out. Never seen the car before. Then while on t he highway I saw the ultimate pogo affect on an eclipse when they went over a bump. The 2 kids in the car even threw up their hands when the car bounced, it was funny.

Finally, got to the garage and started the install. Not too bad all-in-all, but a couple of snags none-the-less. If any of you have installed the GMPP kit with MOOG sway bar bushings, I must know your secret. The bushings are too big for the clamp that holds the bushing in place. Did you buy new clamps that were bigger?

Went to use the MOOG front end links and the spacer they provided looked kinda chinzy compared to the one that came with the GMPP kit. So I did a hybrid of the GM bolt and spacer with the MOOG end link bushings inbetween. When the car was up on the lift I noticed that I need new struts, so those will be going in sooner than I had originally planned.

The rear trailing arms went OK. One of the spacers on that was a little frozen to the bolt, but that came off with a little gentle persuassion. Next was the alignment, which went ok too. The left rear wheel was being a P.I.T.A. and wouldn't get into adjustment. After the help of a B.F.H. (Big F*cking Hammer) it eventually saw things my way.

It was damn near 70* on the drive home so I rolled the windows down and reaped the benefits of a couple hours of hard work and cruised home with a much tighter feeling car.

Mike we can get sway bar bushings too and thats about it. I emailed zoomer a few weeks ago and told him to make thicker sway bars for us (especially for the front) and he said he would look into it. I told him a jack ton of people would probably buy them.

It's good that the kit improved the handling of your car. If you don't have them I suggest front & rear STB bars and donrome brackets for even better handling and control.

Thanks Don, but I already have BMR front and rear STB's. Actually I am looking to sell the gmpp front STB that came in the kit as I do not need it.
