Are you getting these used since they are no longer available from GM? To answer your question the struts for the GMPP kit were made by koni and are adjustable. In my opinion one of the best struts made for the wbody. The other being the bilsteins on the GXP. The GMPP kit came with lowering springs made by vogtland. The drop was 0.9 inches in the front and 0.7 inches in the rear. You can use any spring of your choice with the GMPP struts.

^What he said.

I have em, and I love em.

The struts are awesome! The springs are nice as they don't slam your car like the Eibachs do. Thus, you do not have mis angled CV shafts and all the other problems associated with dropping these cars too far.

Ride quality is good with the springs. It firms it up some, but cant tell if its all the springs, or where I have the struts set. I have the struts set in the middle all the way around, and its firm, but doesn't shake your teeth out. Its a good solid ride.

They are used but I wanted to know how long they would last ......so it would only lower of less than an inch from stock ? What if I put the scc's on them would it wear them quicker ?

97-03 springs sit lower on an 04+. You can swap over the ssc springs if you wish. My GMPP koni's have almost 40K miles and they are still good.

Koni still refurbishes them. I emailed them sometime ago and they came back with a price of $165 per strut. They estimated an 8-10 week lead time for them.
