Just had my front wheel off, and noticed that one side of my front sway bar has snapped off. Are these easy to replace, and what one is best to buy for replacement? Also, is car safe to drive in this condition?

Hope someone decides to answer this post, as I'm still waiting on my previous one about replacement front brake pads! C'mon people, give us a break!

search is your friend :-)

Some people go for GMPP sway bar. Since it is my daily driving so I use stock sway bar anyway.

It's a very common problem, mine was snapped and I welded it back on to hold for now...I know many people that have had this problem though.

I just ordered the GMPP Handling Kit which includes bigger swaybars for the front and rear, and a strut tower brace, so I'll be replacing it soon.

First pick is the GMMP replacement, second is the Dorman part.

Off topic - are the skulls on your rear windows just skulls, or are they "the punisher" style skulls?

Just for your reference, Front GMPP Sway Bar Kit - Part# 12498643, Rear GMMP Sway Bar- GMMP Kit# 12498642. Also recommended are new endlinks for the rear bar, Moog K6662, they are thicker and greaseable. Cheapest I found is on Amazon.com for $23 each with free shipping.

After all the searching it was cheapest to let my local dealer order the sway bars, rear is easy, front isn't too difficult if you follow the above instructions which involves undoing a tie rod.

Well, after one went missing en route, a replacement sway bar was sent out to me. Only taken 2 months from when I ordered it! (There must be an easier way)

Settled for the Dorman solid bar and links, and well pleased with the result. Looks a lot more solid than what fell off the car; the links were perished as well as the bar! No more clunks when driving over bumps....

Not that many; I've seen about 6 in the last couple of years, all different marks and models. There's a freshly imported 2001 model for sale just down the road to me, have a look in the Off Topics section if you haven't already seen it.
