lol. yeah, the brakes are still wearing in. al i did was take it down the road (to check everything out), to band practice, and to work, so they still have less than 100 miles on them.

I just ordered my slotted rotors and I will be pickin up a new set of friction masters tomorrow.... I can get 05 pads for the front and rear right?

The 05 pads are the same size in the rear, but definitely get the bigger 05 front pads. I installed those on my car and they stop twice as good now!

would the 05+ pads work in a 99 as well? im pretty sure the calipers are the same...

gET ON autozone and do a search for both years pads and find out. If the numbers match they're the same pad. AZ is not in the habit of stocking the exact same part under different numbers. Would make their life hell.
