Just started the work at 12PM and all I have accomplished so far is removing the stock struts and sway bar. The stock sway bar was replaced with the GMPP front sway bar- which freaking huge! I had to remove the O2 sensor to push the bar into place. I have the KYBs on the side with new strut mounts and anti-pogo washers ready and the WBS control arms also with TPR endlinks. So by tomorrow I should have everything complete.

I'll post picture of the whole install once I get my Iphone tomorrow

That's a nice upgrade indeed! Did you get the adjustable AGX struts?

Are the WBS Control Arms the ones Ron Vogal made?

Whos Ron Vogal? I just purchased the control arms that are available now from WBS.

**Edit**
Are you talking about these? Did some search and this is what came up.

I was thinking of waiting for these to come out, but I was getting sick of the pogo
They are finally coming out in March

I take it that you are keeping the stock coil springs?

I already have the eibach lowering spring in on all sides, which is why I am installing the KYBs mostly due to pogo.

**UPDATE**

I finished my car up and got an alignment, but the only problem is that I F**Ked up my CV joint thread for the bolt. So now I got to go to a tranny shop to fix it. Thank god the axle and hub are rusted together to death right now still.

Howdy, I have studied your suspension mod; I have 04 Pontiac GP GT2; the mods on my 2004 GP are as follows:
(1) Upgraded to an Inferno Front Air Dam from www.pfyc.com; front looks a lot more better and aggressive.
(2) Upgraded to GMPP HD rear trailing arms.
(3) Upgraded to BMR Front strut tower brace. I don't know why BMR won't put out a rear STB for 04-08 GP’s?
(4) New Yokohama 225X16 AVID 4HS Tires all season radials.
(5) I Have rear Strut tower brace from ZZ Performance; not installed yet.
(6) Like to install GMMP front and rear sways; with Heavy duty front and rear Endlinks with poly's.
(7) Wish List: Blienstein shocks F4 VE3 F315 for front/ and F4 VE3 F316 for the rear's. These are both heavy-duty shocks.
Unable to find these, but they are listed on Blienstien site.
(8) Brake upgrade; need something better than than what on the GT2; any recommendations for brakes?
(9) Battery gauge and Oil Pressure gauge. Sunpro makes them electric with a 2 gauge Pod. Why the factory doesn’t put these gauges in is beyond my understanding; they put them on the Bonneville’s why not the Grand Prixs? Can this mod be done to 2004 Grand Prix?
(10) Like to keep my car at stock height; because of the front air dam; is there stiffer stock spring other than lowering springs out on the market. I know MOOG makes springs and so called cargo coils is this a waste of time going this route?

Current 2004 Pontiac GT2 has a 20mm solid front sway bar; and 17.2 mm rear sway bar. The front End link attaches to the shock/strut. I know I need the 97-03 WBS Front Lower Control Arms if upgrading to GMPP 34mm HD Front Sway bar.
Questions:
(1) Where can I get 34MM poly bushings for the front sways; and do I use the same factory sway brackets for this mod or is there greasable fitting for this mod?
(2) The GMPP front end links are they heavy duty (Grade 8 bolts) if so; do I just need poly replacements for the bushings or do I need order Moog part# K5342 end links for the front & K6662 for the rear end links?
(3) As for the GMPP kit# 14298642 "rear sway 19mm" ; Some people are not getting part# 1074610 rear sway bar with this kit; instead they are receiving part# 10351314 rear sway bar. Can any buddy shed some light on this?
(4) Where can I get Heavy-duty rear end link for 04 Grand Prix/ are the Moog K6662 any better than stock or what about
Duralast from AutoZone are they OEM or heavy duty?
(5) Last, I want to add there is not much on the market for 2004-08 Grand Prix in term of shocks, sway bars upgrades. You would thing the aftermarket would put out more suspension upgrades for this market. The market is there for it...

Thank You,
04GTPGT2

WOW...
I think you should copy & paste that post into a new topic
To answer you would take this thread way off topic...
Then edit your post by deleting it, so people don't try to answer it here

8) To upgrade the front brakes use F-Body calipers and mounting brackets with 12" rotors. There is no upgrade for the rear brakes, and the fronts do most of the stopping.
9) Most people use a pillar gauge pod and your choice of gauges.
10) If you use the CompG struts you won't need stiffer springs and can keep the stock height.

1) Check Energy Suspension for 34mm poly bushings.
2) Call Greg at Pace Performance to ask about the grade 8 endlinks and poly bushings.
3) When you buy the GMPP handling kit it comes with the correct F&R swaybars. The part number is PK12456148.
4) The Moog K6662 HD rear links are the best, which answers the 2nd part of #2.
5) Most of the parts from the 97-03's fit the 2004 GP so there is a lot out there.
