Hello,

Does anyone know if there are sway bar end links that are an upgrade from what is on a Comp G? I am going to be replacing my struts and I would like to upgrade my end links - the part that goes from the sway bar to the strut. I have read something about Moog end links and that they may be possibly be an upgrade.

Please let me know. Thanks!

Don't know if moog is considered an upgrade but when we sell parts at work, moog is usually double in price compared to store brand parts, lifetimme warranty on all moog parts is a plus :)

I installed Moog end links on rears of my 2004 GP GT2 and they were heavy duty compared to stock. My guess is the 2004 GTs and GTPs used same factory stock endlinks. At time when I installed the rears they were no Moog upgrade for the front endlinks tha ttie uo to the strut. So I re did my Front suspension upgrading to 97-03 LCA with the GMPP suspension upgrade kit. I have a big writeup on this titled under GMMP that I posted few years ago that has a lot info. Here is some info from that post

(7) We also replaced the rear endlinks with MOOG part# MK6662 which are more heavy duty than the stock ones. The Mog endlinks came with with some "chinzy" looking end nuts so we reused the ones from the stk endlinks which were more heavy duty.

(9) For the front endlinks (GMPP ones that came with the GMMP kit) used on 97-03 LCA. I sort did a Hybrid I subsituted rubber with Engery Susp poly endlink bushings.

Hope this helps/ If only a manuf could made a better heavy duty upgrade to front suspension of 2004 GP I wouldn't need to use the 97-03 LCA.
TP
