Ive got a rotor thats warped up front, so im gonna do both pass. and driver sides front. How hard are they? How long can I expect to spend on them? I havent done brakes on my own, only helped the old man do his rear brakes and I know theyre diff. from front. Also, any special tools I need?

you may want a portable torch

and an airgun

i know the bolts for mine were seized up pretty good

other than that iirc you can undo the bracket and have both the bracket and caliper come off as a whole

but good luck

really just a c clamp to push the piston back into the caliper.

and buy that $0.99 brake grease they have auto autozone, put it on the slider pins and on the back of the brake pads. got rid of all my squeaks, and un-siezed my pass front caliper.

Good job, it was pretty easy right? Is that an xray of your finger or what?

It was easy, but getting the bolts loose was a PITA. Once I got them all off, it was cake. The xray is of my wrist. Broke the scaphiod bone in half on July 2nd. Since they had to cut the artery, I now have a screw in my wrist and moderate nerve damage. Thank god for Workmans Comp!

Thats the scaphoid...

It must be part of your wrist then. I broke the first bone in my thumb in 2 pieces, luckily they were able to set it without a screw.

The screw is titanium too. They said I would never have 100% feeling in the top of my hand again, the best it would be is about 65%. Right now its about 50% the doc said wednesday. I can move wrist up, down and to the right a little bit, but to the left, it doesnt move, it just stays straight. I can grip with 30#'s with my right hand, with my left hand I can grip 117#'s. The phys. therapist said that I wont break 75-80Lbs of grip at all anymore.
