I currently own a 97GP with stock wheels and tires (225/60/16) I am looking for cheap (sub $400/set) replacement tires.

I am looking for all season tires, since I currently reside in Ohio and the weather is so very unpredictable!

I had my eye on the following tires below (Link included):
http://www.experttire.com/catalog/produ ... n?id=68115

They are the Primewell PZ900

Has anyone had these? Heard anything about them? They claim to be all season tires, but they look more to be summer type tires.

I would appreciate any other suggestions as well as information on the following tires above.

Thanks :)
-Jaclyn

She was sad that no one ever replied to her post, so I fixed it, even if I was half a year later.

Haha, she better start trolling hard or I might have to rethink our relationship. On the plus side, the tires she did end up getting are pretty kick ass so far. Curious to see how well they hold up over time.

She got some Sumitomo HTR A/S P01. For the price they are really awesome so far. Put about 5,000 on them so far and the tread still looks brand new and they handle pretty darn well in rain, snow, and dry pavement. And that's coming from someone who is very anal about tires. My one friend had some Sumi's HTR's on his Impala (yeah Kyle, I'm talking about Jeremy) and he put 25,000 miles on them last year and they are holding up really well and he beats the crap out of them so we decided to give them a try. Would have loved to get some more expensive tires but she was short on cash and I wasn't going to let her continue to drive on her dry rotted Goodyears (did I mention how anal I am about tires  )

Good day,

So what tires would you have suggested she buy if cash was more abundant? :)

If she had a little more money I would have liked to get Yokohama Avid ENVigor's (my dad just got them on his 07 so I'm curious to see how nice they are or not). Or some Goodyear Eagle GT's since I've always heard nothing but good things about them. And if she had even more money I'd like to try Michelin Hydroedges or some Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread (My mom's 05 GP had the older Assurance tires on them and it did great in the snow and the tires lasted forever but it made the car feel floaty and disconnected to the road so I'm curious to see how the new ones are.)

And if she had even more money... get some nice A/S tires and dedicated winter tires haha. Then again Ohio's winter this year only had a couple weeks of snow so winter tires might be a waste if the weather stays like that.

Hey there!

How do you like the Yokohama Avid ENVigor's for handling or what does your Dad think?? I am considering getting those, but am frustrated with my current Yokohamas since they are a pain to balance them properly.

Thanks!

She's the only one of us who drives a GP more often than not, and she also is the one who doesn't troll. Does not compute.

He says he likes them so far but he hasn't had them for very long. He got them in the fall I believe so it's mostly been winter driving on them so far.

She needs to step her game up.
