Alright some of you know I have 18" wheel last year. I know I will getting the tire pretty soon.

That's what my wheel look like. They are almost look like Bonnieville GXP.

When I bring my 18" center cap to dealership where they are selling Bonnieville GXP. I checked them to see if they are match size. Yep, it is match. I ordered new 4 center cap for Bonnieville GXP 18" Pontiac center cap.

Look awesome right? (buzz sound) fail

It is not snap in.

I went to rims store to look some tires. I took a look at Liquidmetal motorsports book. They have brand-new wheel center cap that I like. I told them can you call and ask if they will be fit my wheel? The company said all liquidmetal motorsport are same size for center cap. I just like awesome. Maybe I will buy that instead use the glue on Pontiac center cap which it is not fit my 18" wheel.

I think I would just get smooth center cap to not deal with Pontiac center cap. I don't like "big nut" on center cap. What do you think?

I think you should get the smoothest cap you can that will fit
Then, get an overlay from the grafix store in the sponsors area

This leaves you wide open to make them more unique to you!

I asked them about center cap. They want smooth center cap for $35! That's ONE center cap. $35 * 4 = $140 + shipping.

Someone say use bead of silicone on back of wheel. Maybe it should be work?

I know what you mean pat, those center caps are ridiculously expensive, especially Pontiac center caps. I think you have a great idea going, though!! Look forward to seeing those rims on your car, but i agree that the wheel nut sticking out looks ugly as hell...gotta have center caps. I wouldn't trust the Pontiac center caps to not come flying off while you're going down the road, though, judging by the gap where the center cap goes....not sure if glue or silicone would hold up against all the bumps and stuff in the road that could knock them loose

Try some Gorilla glue on the Bonnie caps, that stuff is very strong. I use it on my girl's sandals when the soles come apart and it outlasts the shoes. It's not like there's any force on the caps, they are very lightweight.

Yeah, I have seen some tire shop remove the center cap for doing the mount or balance job. That's why I'm stuck. I would just get smooth center cap and call it day for easy snap it and out.

That's true Billy, I didn't think of that. Silicone would work better, then you could remove them for balancing and stick them back on with more silicone.

Would 3M tape around the circumference of the cap that snaps in work???

Just a thought...I'm not sure how tight the fit is or even if there is contact at all!!!

I will give Pontiac center cap a try. I will put it one wheel as test to see if it is hold pretty good. If it is getting good then I will start 3 of them.
