Good day!

I have 4 Yokohama YK520 tires and the left rear tire tread is fairly low. When I took a measurement with a penny, the tread just touches Lincoln's head. The other 3 Yokohama's are newer and their treads are way better.

Could this one tire cause the vibration (under seat and in the steering wheel slightly) that I have been feeling for the past 6 months?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Update: I replaced the rear tire and got a good deal since the tire was under a pro-rated warranty...and the vibration under the seat seems to have gone away, but I still feel a slight vibration at the steering wheel. I hate trying to figure out this crap.

I think you expect way too much from your car :P

The alignment, an off balance/bent wheel, and warped brake rotors are all pretty common causes of vibrations. Check all that out first.
