What is your guys opinion on air suspension? Ive been looking around at alot of suspension setups and just cant find one that i like. i like the slammed look, and can roll fenders, but can I get some feedback from somebody who has experience with airbag suspension on any vehicle? How is the reliabilty of a setup like this http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/Easy-S ... 29/558357/ I understand ill need a compressor as well. anyway, what do you guys think?

The third one from Canada was the black gt, his username was Punisher. He sold his air ride to Kuntzie who now has it in his car. Kuntzie has a red gp, converted to standard and turbo.

I almost went airbags but at the last minute bought coilovers...do I regret it...yes/no. Wish it was easier to change heights, but I do like the handling of my car.

Never had a bagged car, but I will someday. How reliable is it? can you daily on of these setups?

O/T but that g8 is SEX!!! That's how I want to do my wheels once I find tires for them.

As for dailying bags, I frequent an audio forum and there's a bunch of guys on there that do it. Granted most of them drive trucks and SUV's, but if they can do it you can too, so long as you don't cheap out on the bags (which reminds me, STAY AWAY from airbagit.com! Horror stories abound about that place.)

I like my no bodyroll

Ive seen kits that are meant for handling increase pressure on one side to help corner

I'm no bag expert, but if you want handling I think you want a 4-corners kit versus a front/back kit. If memory serves, a front/back kit you only run 2 valves but the outside bags tend to shift air to the insides, giving you that shitty ride. 4 Corners means 4 valves, more complexity, and more $$$ but better handling and more control of ride height (each corner can adjust independently versus just the front or the back)

Correct me if I'm wrong

with a hydro set up there is no give. the tires are all the suspention you have lol

even though some kits you can allow them to act as a shock of sorts and have soe give

what they said.. with hydrolics your cylender (one at each corner) is your suspension. think of it as a liquid bag setup. the liquid does not compress like air does. the cylender stays where you put it and has very very little give. and more often than not on the older rwd hydro setups that are "jumped" or "bounced" they use like 2 ton springs to handle the impact of the weight of the car and are still very very stiff.

so air = adjustible with softer ride

hydro = adjustible with very very stiff ride.

but where guys are talking about the car leaning in corners on bags hydo's will not do that.

esplainded enuff??

now that i rethink some suspension geometry (fwd, vs the rwd that i am more familer with when it comes to hydro) i dont see why the hydro cylender couldnt replace the strut and a coil over type setup mount on it. but again your talking stiff springs and basicly no shocks
