I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP with a ABS/TCS issue. Diagnosed with Tech 2 and codes P1571 and C0550 were stored. Dealer recommends that I change out the ABS computer module. I found a person that will fix it for a fraction of the cost (www.cheapabs.com).

My question are...
1. If I follow the directions outlined in the GM Service Manual (http://sm.gpona.com:9001/si/showDoc.do? ... ellId=1193), am I okay? Any tips?
2. Also, can I drive the vehicle (leaving the pump in) while the EBTC component is removed? Any necessary precautions?
3. Any negatives/positives regarding www.cheapabs.com?

Thanks for your responses in advance!
