^X2, highly unnecessary comment Mike. Youre not some kinda retard from the 1920's are you? C'mon man, act like you got some sense... :sad3: Now, to answer your question....

If that's your style, then yeah go for it. But fair warning: anything above a 20" rim on these cars will give you transmission problems and rubbing problems on the fenders, so I would think you would need to roll the fenders or get wheel spacers. Cant really help you much as Im not a big fan of "rims" or spinners or any of that stuff......

FWIW, rolling your fenders will not help with a 22" wheel, it helps for wider wheels. I had to roll my fenders to get my 275's to fit on my GTO (common GTO problem)

Yup comment unnecessary and im black and have 18".. so much for stereo types but on a side note especially if you non-superchrged your tranny is going to hate you w/ 22"s. 20"s fill the wheel wells good and don't get me wrong I like big rims for looks, mostly on trucks or suv but not on a gp I feel like it's a slap in the face on the performance side of it. jus my $.2

22's will look goofy either way. All performance aside, 20's look nice.. once you get any bigger than that, it gives the car a goofy stance, and makes the wheel look bigger than the wheel well, and just makes the whole appearance look goofy. I've been a judge at MANY car shows over the past couple years.. and the biggest deduction I've given, besides a poor underbody, is for wheels that are too big for the car. On a scale of 0 - 10 on the judge sheets, all "donks" receive 0-2 on my scale, because they all make the car just look goofy.. it's not even a personal thing.

22's look good on a GP, but the tires you'll have to run to make them work will be extremely low profile, leaving the rims easily susceptible to damage by potholes, etc. The ride quality of 30 series tires are a joke, not to mention the price of the tires themselves....you could probably do 20" tires AND wheels for what it'll cost you for 22" tires alone.

I have 30 series tires on my GTO in the back, 275/30/19 and the ride quality is just fine. Also I've never had an issue with having a lower profile hurting the wheel.. then again I don't like to see if I can catch air off potholes. He will need much much less than a 30 series with 22's or else the spedo will be off a ton.

^ Agreed. Many "not so bright" folks been signing up here lately.

And agreed also.. I had 35 series tires on one of my cars... HIDEOUS ride quality..
