Prob'ly been asked and answered so a link would be helpfully kind.

My 08 GP came used (29K+ miles) with some (two) tires that were cupped so I had them replaced (dealer had two new ones put on so I don't know what they ALL looked like). After driving it daily since August of 09 a "thum thum thum" can be heard and felt. A visit to a local mechanic last fall came with the news that it looks like the car had had some components replaced in the linkage because they weren't all the same color and that I would be seeing them soon for some work. Well "soon" has come.

My question(s) would be:

• What does a compG suspension give you over a stock package?
• How much money am I talking to switch to a compG?
• If not a compG package - are there any other types of suspension upgrades I can do?

The comp g had stiffer struts. All you would need is the struts if you want to go with the comp g struts. KYB now sells the excel g's that come on the 06+ monte carlo ss with the FE3 suspension. If you want to go the lowering route, then you can go with the KYB AGX's.
