I can be going like 10-15 mph slowing up to a light or stop sign. it makes the car brake alot worse. I tried to pull the abs fuse untill i can get it fixed and the car dies. it wont start w/o th abs fuse. anywho i have had to stop very fast a few times lately and the abs does its jod at high speeds but make a sound like metal grinding. it horrible. i thought i hit the guy in front of me. Other important notes would be that when i got the car the abs was doing the same thing but the DIC said service t/c and abs soon. im getting no errors now. and it is much worse. it is an 04 gt .... Any Ideas? I am new here by the way so hello and thanx

I have the same problem. It's either a bad wheel hub sensor, or like in my case, it may be the harness going to the sensor. There is a fix kit that coast around $70 -$80 per side for 2 wires and a plug. You cut the wires where they go into the large bundle of wires in the engine bay and splice the new one in. I haven't replaced mine yet because I find it hard to justify paying that much for 2 wires.

Here is a link to the write up on how to change the harness if that is your problem.

-The link I posted explains how high to cut.
-04 GTP
-Probably a safety thing. You could always try unplugging the sensor at the tire. I know it will run then. If not, there's something else going on.

Well that sucks. Did you change both sides or just one?

Try to find a garage with a scanner to see which "wheel hub assembly" is the problem (the light must be on for the scanner to pin point the problem)....Do not get cheap and buy a low end assembly with the sensor....I had this problem a few months back in my Impala and it turned out the front driver side was bad.....No problems ever since it was replaced!!! (Prior to the fix, we cleaned the harness connection but a few days later the problem came back)
