Hey guys, just got my manifolds off and I'm wondering how others have gotten the rear header in? The engine is pulled forward but they're still being a P in the A to get in. Am I going to have to drop the rear bolts out of the cradle and try from the bottom?

Thanks for your help guys!

You can install the rear header by removing the front sway bar and install it from under the car. That's how I did it with my SLP headers

You haven't put the front on already have you? i did the same thing>removed stock mani's,ratchet strapped the engine all the way forward, and slipped the rear header in vertically till it was down in their and rotated it back facing the head, worked fine for me. what is the engine hitting on up front? anything you can take off to create more clearance? i know i took my fan heat shroud off as well. if all else fails you can take off your rear valve cover but that's a major PITA just to get your headers on

For my car, I moved the motor all the way forward (I mean you have to pull this motor like crazy with big ratchet strap). Once it is all the way forward, have a buddy drop the header from above down to u int he tunnel. I was able to guide in the rear header easily this way, however u may have to remove a vaccuum line clip (or w/e those things are) in that area. Helps to have 2 ppl with that job! As mentioned above, make sure ur front header is off!

Hey guys, front and back headers are in. Do you really need the little heat shield on the fan?

Ok so everything is in now. Turn the key and I have popping, tinging, and smoke under the hood. Woo I love new parts. lol
