Well I was looking at the Whipple supercharger the other day and I wondered if anyone here has one. From what I heard they compress the air in the s/c before forced into the engine, unlike the m90 that compresses it in the lower intake manifold. Can this bolt on to the L32 lower intake manifold without changing it? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

the whipples are getting really rare as they have been out of production for a year or two

they mostly went on the L67 w/ ALOT of modifications

you have to have alot of parts made one off to fit the car

the closest is VinnieGTP w/ a M112

There is a 2300 up for sale on club drama but it is the very first version for our motors so I am not sure if that is something you want. If you find the 140AX model then jump on it. Like zero said, there are a lot of one off parts for this and it is incredibly expensive.

Yeah I did notice the high price, which was why I decided to ask. Are they still in production? I also noticed that wbodystore was sold out.

if you are wanting to go whipple contact Paul @ PRJ performance as he has been building Jonbob's car for a few years now and on the car they have had to special make lots of parts and the Block has been severally built up to handle the power unless you are a bank I wouldn't do it

Well I don't think I could drop 2 grand on a supercharger, but if I came across a lot of money I may :x

That's why it is just better to go turbo. More efficient and cheaper.

The sound of the Whipple is just sick, but as started above it is much easier and better off to just go turbo.

The sound is cool, you should of heard AnimuL's car in person. Think the video is cool, wait till you were next to the beast.

I wanted to keep the GenV M90 on my car, but wanted a distinctive sound out of it, so I went with a cogged belt set up. ;-) Its sick.
