gonna be starting a MAJOR build in march. money isnt gonna b a issue with this build. what s/c should i get to get the most power? either keep mine or get a new one. we will be tearing down all the way to the block and building back up from there. i want to get as much hp as possible out of my 3800 while keeping it s/ced. What s/c would you guys recommend goin with? gonna go with a tiny pully and 8 rib set up. not really sure what route we r gonna go with everything yet but will have a for sure plan before we start in march. gonna try to sit down with my mechanic sometime this weekend. hes the one that will be doin the work cuz i leave for deployment in march. if anyone has any ideas please throw them my way. i know im goin with a stage 4 cam and all the supporting stuff (not sure on brands yet, prolly as much as i can from ZZP). Thanks in advance for the help. if anyone has done a HIGH hp build PLEASE chime in input is always welcome.

Qft. Better beef up that tranny or you'll be in for a surprise once the build is complete.

Just stick with the GenV. It won't be easy to mod up an adapter for any other blower to the electronic TB.
If you really do intend to go with a cam around .600" of lift, be prepared to get a daily driver as it will be no fun driving this car in the almost non existant lower power band.
I daily drive my XP car, and under 1500 RPM in a higher gear is bog city.

Believe this would have to be used as I contacted Whipple once looking at their blower for the Grand Prix, and they do not sell them anymore. I would go with a Gen V as mentioned above and use the extra money for other mods.

Gev 5 +IC+Cam+meth+ beefaroni tranny= a fun car and use the extra to spice up the susp..no point in having all that power and still handles like a boat unless your strictly doing straight lines

The name whipple is just so much cooler than GenV though

But yes, stick with the Gen V for the blower unless you go turbo

go with the XP cam, stage2 ic with good headers and if available e85. you could see 340hp on a genV with e85. If e85 is not available go with XPz, p/p heads good header and intercooled.

Most cars running a MP112 gains are not that great compaired to the cost of making one fit on our cars. The gains wont be to much greater than running a gen V. If you're going to go through the trouble of getting a blower to fit go with a TVS or see if you can find a whipple and try to make it work. Or you can always go with a centrifical supercharger.

A centrifugal s/c will be a pain to fit under the hood though, thanks to how the 3800 is turned, and the bay has little to no extra room.

The S/C sits on the drivers side almost where a turbocharger would sit. These engine bays are huge compared to most.

I still say focus on your cam and heads selection.
Size out which injectors after you decide which fuels. You'll want 65#/hr+ for E85.
Max out your M90, then decide whether or not you really want a different blower or a different car.
Plus you're going to be wasting a lot of money on labor for a customized blower swap.
At the end of the day, it'll still be FWD.

my suggestion is keep a small pulley and go hi compression. Ported heads with 10:1 !!! custom cam, IC, e85 and no need for crazy small pulley.
