I would say zzp because I have never had anyproblems with many orders and had nothing but problems with WBodyStore.com on orders.

they're both good port jobs. many people have taken those ported sc's and made great power with them. you're better off asking which company will give you best customer service/shipping on the sc. just my .02 ;-)

Trannyman does some EPIC porting. It's not metalwork, it's art. Seriously.

$$$<---- that's my deciding factor. i bought one off a member in another forum for about 130 bucks(his old case). he ported it on his own and the job was AMAZING. inlet ported to 78mm, outlet ported as it should be, h-bar removed, it's beautiful. hell it was even bead blasted for paint prep. just shop around. vendors make more business through rep IMO

We port all of our s/c inlet's to 78mm. We also open up the outlet on the gen3's. The cost of the port work is 100.00. We also polish everything when we are done. Shipping depends on your location. And the refundable core charge is 60.00.

Let me know if your intrested.

I enjoyed talking to you on the phone Parker.
Sounds like you're doing some sensible work for a fair price.

It never hurts to port a blower for more efficiency.
It's just a matter of how far you want to go and will the money spent give you decent returns...ie.: what you want..
As to who does them,I would *imagine* ZZP,Intense and Top Dead Center Racing come to mind.

let me rephrase what i asked.... i meant is it worth doing as far as horsepower per dollar. in other words should i just do the pulley,downpipe/exhaust, and pcm and save the porting for last?

Are you planning on doing head work as well? Porting and polishing is usually amongst the later stages when you are looking for higher performance. If you plan on putting on an IC and cam, just do the port and polishing as well since you are all ready in there. Otherwise, I wouldn't mess with it since it is a pain to swap out LIM and S/C's...

im not planning on doing head work really. id like nothing more than to just dump a bunch of loot into my baby to make her go fast (who on here wouldnt). im probably just gonna go for the bolt ons and keep her mild under the hood then do some exterior upgrades. prolly get flip to do my tails and h/lights. thanks for the info fellas much appreciated!

I live in Warner Robins, would it be possible to do a dropoff and pickup kind of deal?

A GenV is a glorified GenIII on roids.

Some of you may not have been around too long to remember when GM was actually reading what all we were doing to these engines. They saw the professional proven data of the flow bench numbers of the GenIIIs and how far some have taken them. (Mostly ZZP did all the hard work and testing) GM said, "Ah, good points, and good data" took that info, and turned it into the GenV for the newly designed car in '04 and figured this would be a nice touch to the same old engine. They also knew of the flaws with the GenIII couplers, and rotor coating, so redid those as well for the GenV's.

Pretty much what happened in a quick short story.
