I have a 2003 gt. I love the spound of a super charger and I'm jealous. I'll probably be going to the junkyard within a couple days and if I find a gtp I want to pull the parts for a top swap. However, I have like no clue what parts I need. Is there a list of what I need? And how much could this run me all togeather? I would probably have to take it to get it installed.

That's what I was hoping not to hear, I wish I knew my way around a car.

you also need the GTP heads. unless you are doing the ssm90 wich limits the amount of boost you can make becuase it uses the drive belt to spin the S/C.

I might just pass on the top swap, it seems like a lot of work and money.

If you are not too willing to get everything needed for a top swap, just save the $$ and turbo it later down the road.

Even a turbo might be out of my price range.

Just search for good deals. So far I have all the parts other then the gaskets and bolts and some other little junk. I have about another 200-300$ or so in parts to buy and then I will look for some one to help me put it together that I will also give a little money to for there help.

I have all the pulleys heads lower intake supercharger TB fuel rail injectors and other misc parts and I only have 300$ in it.

I think i spend somewhere around $2,500 on my top-swap but, i also bought other goodies and opted for the genV. You will need something to scan with and all breathing mods first. You need a custom tune because our gt's use 3.29 gearing vs. the gtp which uses 2.93. You need about $300 in gaskets, fluids and misc alone. Do alot of reading before you start. If you don't want to bother learning tuning with hptuners, Intense gave me an amazing safe mail order tune, id recommend them if your going to get it dyno'ed later. You will probably want to get the L67 cylinder heads rebuilt, if ur getting them used, oh and imo don't get 97 heads, they're more prone to cracking in-between the valves.
