question.
I have an 04 GTP Comp G and i noticed it has a tick while accelerating. now when in park and i rev it, no tick. but when driving it has a tick. any info?

i'm sure you're asking yourself "really? this kid doesnt know?" but yeah i dont lol

ps i run 93 octane fuel. have a CAI and zzp PCM.
and
i beat my car.

it could be your downpipe or downpipe gasket

now for the ticking... i have the same problem while im accelerating.., its my downpipe gasket/flex pipe..

i know you're prolly like wtf? lol i said the same thing before.. my car had that sounds and when i replaced my DP it was completely gone..

and now its back again but i can see that my dp is leaking out...

we were talking about it last week

well thanks for the input. im goin to visit my mechanic this weekend to have my plog installed and have my pulley changed, i'll have him look. he works for GM so he should figure it out lol
