Well I'm going to call this "Solved". I took it for a long drive today and didn't feel any surging. It was the vacuum leaks and bad PVC valve. There were some other problems that just crept up, but they went away when I re-installed the OEM TPS and gave the new one back to O'Reilly's. As a matter of fact the engine idles so darn smooth and low (about 800 rpms) that I really don't notice it at traffic lights. She running real good now!!! Thanks for all the help and suggestions.
