Hey everyone, so i finally picked up my lim job gaskets from the post office, and it appears the l32 garlock supercharger gasket i got from zzp doesn't have any coolant holes. Is this normal? I got the o-rings seperate for this, but i guess i can't use them since there is no holes... So now im wondering if i should modify the gasket for the new holes or somehow plug the coolant holes? Heres a pick of the gasket i got. The other holes seem to line up.

The 04-05 ac delco gasket has the coolant o-rings built into the gasket. I would say just cut out the holes and run your o-rings.

You will need to use a very LIGHT coat of sealant around all surface mating areas.
Garloc gaskets are terrible, you will need to replace it within 6 months from the heat cycles regardless.
Ditch it now, and get a GM steel gasket.

I intended on getting a gm gasket, but the garlock was 12.99 instead of 90 at the dealer so I figured id give it a shot. Hopefully in a couple months when I get an intercooler i will change it out, just gotta last a bit... I plugged off my coolant passages with some rtv and dimes, so hopefully that holds up. I didn't use any sealant, so we will see what happens... Almost got it all back together just gotta pick up some coolant tommorow and fire it up! Thanks for the help buickman and Andrew

I ran garlicky and just put the o-rings and gasket on like normal ( didn't do anything like open them or seal them off) and put a little rtv and no issues, when i pulled the I/c and intake off after hurting the motor they looked great still.

Good to know, I didn't put rtv on and probably should have, did you just kind of smear it over the whole gasket, or just on the bottom of the mating surface of the supercharger, or around each bolt hole/openings?

i just basicly did a line around the whole thing (thin line) and a little extra on the tb side, around the orings and such

i did it light so that there wouldnt be much that squished out too far. if i can or think about it i will try to take a pic of what it looked like when i took it off,

Cool sounds good. I finished it off today and it seems to run pretty well, took a bit of effort bleed all the air out of the system but I don't see any leaks around the injectors, valve covers, or lim yet... I did spill quite a bit of coolant filling it up and bleeding it though so that might take a bit to burn off.
