I got some windshield fluid and noticed that my supercharger belt was off :(. I was reading up on the new pulley system but I am complete noob to that whole area so I was thinking of just buying a belt to put back on my stock pulley what size do I need and is it easy to install it back on?

on the strut tower theres a belt relay, and the tensioner is a 3/8ths ratchet goes in the whole and just pull or push i cant remember to put it on. mine on the other hand is seases and dosnt move.

remember dont fix the problem. fix the cause, check all the pullys see if they are seazed. a belt shouldnt fall off for no good reason.

If you did not take the belt off, there is a pulley problem and you have to figure out which one. A seized pulley, a bad bearing causing misalignment, something.

Well the thing is I clean my engine bay wiped her down and sprayed it with water. I let it dry in the sun to make sure nothing was wet when I drove it. I dont know if that had anything to do with it, but I did notice when I tried to unwind the belt and put it back on that there was some black stuff on one of the pulleys I dunno if it was some melted rubber or what not, but Im sure it might have something to do with it. I also heard a little bit of a whine a while back that I am most certain was the supercharger belt. I will try and throw some pics on when I can. In advance though I really appreciate the feedback on this forum as I have said in posts before Im really new to cars yet find it interesting. Whoever said that "a car is a large investment why not take care of it" really got me into modding and staying ahead on the upkeep of my car. So thanks guys for helping the rookies out haha were definately grateful.
