Good day,

I will be changing my plugs from stock to Autolite 104s (and new stock wires), once I install the 3" catted DP and 180 deg tstat. I have been reading the people have used .54 gap for these plugs. Is this the recommendation for a lightly modded GTP Comp G?

Thanks.

Until you drop to at least a 3.6" pulley, I advise you stick with OEM stock heat range plugs. You will just be replacing your plugs at shorter intervals since cold plugs foul out sooner. Use a DMM and measure the resistance of your plug wires, chances are they are still good and replacements are unnecessary.

605's would be good in knocking down some kr since it is only 1 heat range from stock

Hey there!

I ended up using the Autolite Xp 104s - Iridiums. I figured that the copper 104s would need replacing every 10K or so....and they are a pain to change! :)

Curious to why not AC-Delco Iridiums. I am trying to locate the part# for the next range down

Good day,

I chose the Autolites since many people on this forum use Autolites. I chose the Iridiums since they last a lot longer than the copper 104s.

^^^ Problem, if you're running boost, the Iridium plugs stay hot for longer after firing. This can cause detonation, which essentially is KR. My AL104s last me about 2 years on average. Haven't had them die early.
