I'm thinking you should ditch the PEM and get a PLOG? I don't want to start a PEM vs. PlOG flamewar but you never actually know how good that pem was ported and the plog is proven. just food for thought.

my bad, i do have a front power log, not pem, just got them confused. i have that, cc crossover, 3" dp and 3" exhaust, me and a buddy are about to start tuning with HPT, gonna get the new 3.5" on, take it too the track and see the difference, then hook a wideband 02 that he has up to my car, and see what we can improve.

well got the new pulley on, 3.5 MPS, scanned and still have 2*KR, sometimes 3*, not too bad i guess, but would like to get rid of it completley, might be able to with the HPT, gonna take it to the track SUnday, and see how it does.

Get that KR tuned out before you run. Get 3* of KR for too long, and certain engine parts will let you know that they don't like it. More than 1* is a problem.

I'd go with a 3.6" pulley unless you can tune out the KR. From what I know, 2* KR is the limit. 1* isn't too bad, but of couse no KR is even better.

I think you should keep the pulley you have, KR is there to protect your engine. When you are sucking in air that is too warm and it doesn't get out fast enough, it causes pre-ignition which is also called knock. As you know, Knock is bad for your engine, so what the Ignition Control Module does is it retards, or slows, the point where it fires the spark plugs to get rid of Knock. It is very hard to keep a car at 0 KR, even from stock. If you take your friend's car out and test the amount of KR it won't be zero. Emission standards and good gas mileage are what push automakers to even have KR, they have to get the engine as hot as it can get without Knocking to get the best mileage. I would still tune the PCM for the new mods you installed, but as far as pulley sizes go, I wouldn't waste time going bigger.

I think you need to go to a 3.6 and start from there. I just got my car tuned with PRJ this weekend and with my mods he said the 3.6 was my limit. I get a slight blip of KR during my 2-3 shift. Its like 0.26xx degrees or something and thats it. You really gotta work these L32/GenV's down slowly when it comes to dropping pulleys.

Not sure yet. The track opens next week. I'm going to get a dyno within the next month also. A rough estimation would be a 13.8 I guess??? Thats at least what I am hoping for. I got a dyno when I was completely stock besides the 180* and upper poly mounts and my avg. pull was 205whp. I can't remember the torque off hand though.

also my car is getting 9.5-10psi on the supercharger and 19.5-20* timing. The only KR I ever see is a small blip during I think my 2-3 shift. The KR is only 0.23x and it only lasts for a second.

At least you aren't the genius who put a 3.0" pulley on a stock GTP (airbox and all). Kid asked me why it was slower with the smaller pulley, I couldn't contain myself anymore, so I left. Haven't seen his car in a while....
