Hi guys, quick question.

Sorry I havent really searched around too much, just a little. Anyways my car is an 07 S/C GP GT. Everything stock. Will i see any benefit in runnning a 180? Where are you guys picking these up from? Im in ontario canada and Canadian Tire (aka crappy tire) and GM dealers dont have them.

I think that's only for the 160 stat. The 180 isn't much of a difference really.

You need to change the fan turn on points to take advantage of a 180tstat, yes it's not a huge drop from stock temps, but your fans will have a long delay in coming on if you have to wait for the ECTs to get up in the 200+ range and the more stable you can keep your coolant temps the better. Having the ECTs around ~220 then go back down to 180 is a lot of fluctuation. A full out tune though would be best though since then you can adjust fueling, timing, etc to take advantage of the lower engine temp. Having a lower tstat decreases KR slightly and will let you run a little more timing advance. They technically aren't a "performance upgrade" but it's more of a supporting mod to let you run more things or tune better and just keep the engine cooler if you're beating on it. If you run it in the winter though your car will try to run a little rich though so you might want to switch back to 195 for winter months.
I get mine at the local auto parts stores, but a lot of online places like RockAuto, ZZP (if you want to overpay for one), and even local stores that will ship should have them (Advance Auto, Autozone, NAPA, Summitracing etc).
