ive got a 03 gt (l36) and a 03 gtp(l67)(rear wrecked). i plan to just drop the gtp subframe engine, suspension and tranny intact and swap it into the gt (sleeper????hahahahaha). any advice for droppin the subframe? im putting it onto a skid i made with a space for a jack, i wanna know will the engine lift mount hold all the weight or should i forklift the skid to move it. also when its out im gonna replace most of the gaskets and plan for some mods. im lookin for around 300- 330 should i cam it? or just replace valves and springs and grab a pulley. i know the 3 inch downpipe and headers are pretty much a given and i have a slp fwi. any input would be great. so 1.subframe help 2.mod help 3.help the hondas at the track hahahahahahahaha. thanks guys

1. most engine lifts are good to about 3 tons, we have one at my work i think can do 5? i dont know its massive compared to most ive seen

2. modding, camming you most likely would have to do a lot more to the engine

3. headers deffenitly if the engine is out, the backs will be a bitch once in the car

4. pully, just doing valve springs isnt going to do it, if your doing the headers intake a 3.5 may be good any lower i would deffenitly do internals like the cam, roller rockers, ect.

what mods are the best bang for the buck(engine + tranny will be out because im swapping it into a 03 gt, well the whole subframe so thats another story). what power can i safley make with out hurting anything. you said i could probably run a 3.5, with headers and a 3"downpipe, what power you think that is good for. ive got around $1500 for mods(although id like to have some left incase the swap goes rough) doin the work myself. any tips on droppin the L67 subframe with the engine, suspension and tranny intact are welcome as well.

Cam
Springs
Possible rockers
Replace EVERY gasket
New s/c coupler
headers or front p-log with ported rear mani
Everything else can be done while the engine in the car

Get all of your basic mods setup then get an Aftermarket PCM (overkill prefered) and SCAN SCAN SCAN until you ZERO knock. Then drop the pulley to a 3.4 then scan/tune/scan/tune/scan/tune some more so you have ZERO knock again and mae sure everything is how you want it.

hahaha so im guessin the key is ZERO KNOCK. im thinkin comp cams(lookin at the vs cam is that good model for stock heads?) and those ls1 springs from zzp(can i keep stock rockers and push rods with that setup and still run a 3.5or lower pulley?) also ill grab some headers(what best deal here? i notice some like pacesetter are 500 and include a downpipe.) a new stock coupler? or aftermarket(if you got a link). ill grab the overkill pcm too. will my tranny hold? hahahahahahaha ill have the engine out by sunday (famous last words) but seriously i will. i do have to say this site is pretty killer i appreciate the help.
