Good day,

I am going to order a Modular Pulley System from ZZP tomorrow and I am trying to decide between the 3.6 and the 3.5 pulley. I had my vehicle tuned and have 0 KR so I could go to a 3.5 possibly, but perhaps a 3.6 would be best overall. I may go with 1.9 rockers at some point so I should consider that as well.

Any thoughts?

Should I also order a new belt too?

Also, how much HP difference would there be between a 3.6 and a 3.5??

Thanks once again!

every 0.1 that you drop is close to about 1 psi of boost on the supercharger so if u got stock 3.8 pulley and you drop to 3.6 that's roughly 2 psi increase since ur spinning the s/c at a faster rate... i'd shoot for a 3.6 overall and then get a 3.5 if u can find one used... 1.9 rockers will give u and improvement as well... u'll go cam later after that ;) usually the case from what i've seen

as far a belts your gonna need a new one since the pulley is going to be smaller and make sure u have a puller/installer tool for the MPS... u can rent one from zzp if u need to and don't wanna buy one

found this on the intense site http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/mer ... ry_Code=BE for the gatorback belts they sell as far a sizes but i got no idea for what size it'd be for say like a polycog belt which advance auto sells

oh an i got no idea how much power gain so sadly can't help ya there :-\

Get the 3.5 pulley and don't waste your money on the 3.6. You will be fine. No sense in getting a 3.6 only to spend an extra $30-$50 again for a another pulley.

go big or go home!! lol with 0 kr might as well go straight to the 3.5 imo. then after the instal re check for kr and see what ya got and then that will let you know what your next step should be.

I would guess around a 10-15 hp difference. Here is a chart with the belt sizes you should run with what pulley you have.

Well... I was going to order the pulley today and install it this Friday, but the guy who tuned my car is not available. I will have to wait 2 weeks before I am free to do the install and get the tune.

I will go with the ZZP MPS 3.5 Pulley and the 658 belt.

Anything else I should consider while I am at it? :)

Yes ditch the downpipe and get headers if you can swing it. :)
Or get some 1.9 rockers.

LOL.....I should have been more clearer. Is there anything I should do to the S/C while I change out the pulley and belt?

Rockers will happen next year......headers may happen as well.....later.

Yea I figured I was just giving ya a little shit. If you haven't done it in awhile I would go ahead and change out that S/C oil as well.

I have an idea! Why don't I get some headers?? ! :) Or maybe a Powerlog.....now that ZZP has them back in stock.

I know I know...just joking....I would be disappointed. :)
