I have face-palmed myself because I'm planning on running a custom grind cam based off of a s1x with 1.8 rockers... So yea, I don't recommend going the rocker route at all.... you just waste money on a somewhat expensive detour...

I almost went there, I installed rockers and then bought a S1x cam. Never got around to installing it but I should have just gone cammed in the first place.

i am doing both

i want the vs for the idle quality and the rockers will help get the lift back. i know i could just get a custom ground cam for this but i am not spending $300+ on a brand new cam

i have been messing around with my engine dyno sim and the vs with 1.85 rockers gets about 10-15 more then just a straight xp or s1x. and used they can be found cheap if there just modded stockers

well the build is a go. started getting some parts. (got some money for graduation) so i bought some headers, compleat top end gasket set, coolant elbows, 1.85 rockers (there actualy ER rockers but when i get the VS cam they will work nice)

still trying to figure out what pulley to run thinking a 3.5. i will be porting the LIM a bit and may send in the S/C case to be worked over.
