Alright guys, im looking for a little advise on what to do next performance wise on my 97 GTP...
Im new here so no one is familiar with my car, but I already have quite a bit done, I have; GTX style functioning RAM Air, SLP headers, MSD coil and wire set, 3.2 pulley, U bend replacement pipe with full Borla Cat Back system, and more suspension mods and a few other things here and there. Im looking to do a few more mods, but nothing crazy as this is my everyday driver.. So what do you all suggest I do next?

I would suggest a cam, rockers, or an intercooler.

I would suggest a scanner so you can see how much knock you have on that 3.2 without a cam or rockers.

Yes!!!!! A 3.2 with only headers, no tune, and no other breathing mods, probably isn't the best thing ever.

If you're running a 3.2" pulley, I'd go with the XP cam, or an IS3. Headers will go a long ways towards reducing KR, but I find it difficult to believe that it is all gone.

Oh, and get rid of that '97 PCM, and get a '98-'02. You may need the engine harness as well, but the '97 PCM is limited. I used a '98, and it was a good setup.

XP or s1x will be your best bet. If you decide to do PnP heads, you can go with more aggressive cam setup.

not to thread jack, but what is wrong with the 97 pcm?? mine has been working fine and i had my xp, headers, 3.0, 42.5, stage 2 tb, ect ect. in there and it was fine.

and has been dyno tuned 2 or 3 times, been flashed before that, and has been flashed twice after (once when putting the stock motor back in the car, and again when that motor knocked and i put the stock s/c motor in it.)

A s1x and XP put down almost the exact same numbers, it's personal preference. I'd go with the S1x but that's just me. An intercooler is your other option. Don't mess around with a SSIC either. Go full size or don't bother.
