Hey Guys. I am doing the Gen V Swap on my vehicle and starting to gather parts this week. I am also going to do the intercooler install at the same time with the Gen V. I need some pointers and information on some technical questions, hopefully someone can help.
I am purchasing the Gen V Blower: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix ... &catid=106
I am purchasing the ported & machined lower intake, w/ running porting/gasket matching: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix ... php?id=235
I am purchasing the Gen V Stage 2 Intercooler Kit: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix ... &catid=139
I am purchasing the Northstar 77mm Throttle Body Kit: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix ... php?id=646

I am planning on using my current Modular Pulley System w/ 3.1" Pulley.
First of all, is there any cheaper or better places to purchase these parts above, that I need?
Next, besides those three kits above, will I be needing anything else for the swap? Anything else suggested?
I appreciate any help! Please advise.

You're going to need gaskets for underneath and on top of the intercooler. Throttle body gasket and LIM gasket. Tuning of the pcm for the added air from the new TB and also the addition of the I/C. Also, if you have a Gen 3 s/c now and are switching to a Gen V, you probably will not need that 3.1" pulley. The Gen V blower is more efficient than the Gen 3 and eventhough you want to put an intercooler on, I think the 3.1" will be too much pulley for that setup.

What other mods do you have now?

If you put all of that money into the car already and have a ported blower, why switch to the gen v? Why not just get a gen 3 i/c and get some bigger injectors, and tune the pcm?

Or you could always cam it and call it a day...

I want to go with the more efficient blower and am willing to pay for the newer technology.

To find it cheaper check the classifieds on clubgp.
What else you will need? 2 supercharger gaskets, lim gaskets, coolant elbows, injector o-rings, larger supercharger belt, oil, filter, anti-freeze, yada yada yada. Also I don't see it on your list but you will need fuel rails to fit over the inter-cooler.

Don't buy the zzp modded stock rails. I had fitment issues with them and they painted over all of the threads. PRJ rails and the billet zzp rails are good, but $$$$.

Does it make sense to repeat everything that I just said?

He asked for a opinion and I gave it. To be honest I didn't even read your post.
