I was wondering if neone knows if you can swap a L32 in place of a L67 in a 1997 grand prix gtp. and if so what things need to be changed. Also is it possible to do a gxp v8 swap in a 1997 grand prix?

I remember seeing a V8 Grand Prix -03 on the internet a while ago. I don't see why it wouldn't fit. Maybe you would have have to make more room for a few thing, but that's about it.

Just make sure to get the tranny too!

The block is the same. The crank and cam should be. Rods and pistons, however, are not.

the timing set is diffrent the L67 has it installed straight up wile the L36 cam is 2* retarded stock. thats why the gears look diffrent. also the heads are diffrent the L67 heads have the injector bosses in them wile the l36 has the injectors in the LIM

cool i just needed to make sure the rotating assembly was the same bc my motor broke two rods and took a chunk out of the bottoms of cylinders 3 and 4 so my block is no good. im goin to put eagle rods and je forged pistons in so the rods and pistons dont matter to me.

There is a Gen1 W-Body GP in Milwaukee with a Northstar, 6M, and rear wheel drive.
