today the car started missfiring at WOT on the 2000 GTP

changed the plug wires i neglected to replace and cleaned the rust off of the coil towers. this did nothing. gapped the plugs to .040 this did nothing

changed the fuel filter this did nothing as well

any thing else? only other idea i have is fuel pump is going out it is vary noising compared to the 01s old pump. LT fuel trim is 3.1 so it is trying to add more fuel

Fuel pump could be weak, yes. What is the pressure at the rail? Regap those plugs to .060" if the engine is stock. If not, .055" is the proper gap. You're gapped WAY to tight.

it was at .06 i did it that tight incase it was spark blow out by some weird chance.

have not yet found my fuel pressure guage but that will be the next step

How many miles on the car? The ICM could be takign a crap.
