Just wondering if anyone has any info on meth injection for a GTP. My buddy just got a kit for his Cobalt SS(turbo) and he thinks it'd be a good idea for my GP. Wondering about how much knock it eliminates, prices, difficulty of installation, ease of tuning, etc.

Meth' is nasty stuff....very corrosive your S/C won't appreciate it.
Try Ethanol.
The octane rating of both is around 107.
Tuning is not too bad,but you have to keep an eye on it.
Once you get it in the ball park,it shouldn't be too hard to keep a reasonably safe tune.

Grab a set of 60# injectors, and run Ethanol. L67/L32 LIM design will not evenly distribute the methanol, most likely leaving cylinders 1 and 2 lean, the chance of chipping a piston is much greater.

water/meth injection is great if you set it up right. Cools the incoming air, works especially well with an intercooled car like your friend's Cobalt SS. If you can have your tune setup right I say go for it. Better yet run e85 and water/meth.
