I had to take my vehicle to the dealer to get some work done. They told me that my intake gaskets are failing (already had them replaced by GM a few years back) and need to be replaced again. They wanted approximately ~700-800 dollars for the work. I've never replaced one of these before and I'm wondering how difficult it actually is. I'm competent to do minor repairs on my car (e.g. oil change, brakes, spark plugs, etc), but I've never replaced engine gaskets. If there's a webpage with detailed instructions that will be very helpful!

Thanks in advance!

It's pretty easy to do. Make sure you get the aluminum LIM gaskets though so you won't have to redo this again in a couple years

How did it go? LIM gaskets aren't bad at all. Just get you some beverages and have at it. I've done a few and they get easier each time. Infact in no time you will be able to pull the blower off in about 10 minutes.

Hopefully you tackled the job on your own.
