Hello all, I need some input on something...

I put a PT-61 turbo on my L32 last year, as well as rockers, exhaust, all that fun stuff.
I bought 65lb injectors because I thought it'd be easier to go a little bigger now, then later if I needed them.

My question is this:

If I am driving a car at 60mph, either be it with l32 injectors, 42.5s, 65s, etc, shouldn't gas consumption remain similar unless I push it (then requiring more fuel??).

This is basically what I understood when I started to upgrade. I've got a brand new O2 and everything that should equal good milage, but I still get 18 MPG if I drive like a senior citizen.

Should I scale back to smaller injectors? I am adding a Stattama ST2 cam in the spring, as well as springs and building my transmission up with the parts I acquired. I've got a 3500 stall torque converter, which is an ATI brand, I heard it actually stalls around 3200RPM, which I thought would be decent for this setup. I am running 12lbs boost at the moment, but plan on pushing it to 16 or 17 when things are completed.

That is my situation.. Would love to save some cash on gas this year so I can joyride more, especially on 93 octane which was $1.45/liter up here last summer.

Thanks for your input. Oh, the car has been tuned by Will (Overkill) in person, so I am not sure what else I can try.

Highway and idle fuel consumption shouldn't be affected too much. The higher stall TC will adversly affect fuel mileage, too. I would do a good street and/or dyno tune. Tune it ON the highway...adding timing and pulling fuel as much as possible.

I would say it would matter on the tune. The tune is what tells the injectors when to open and when to close. I would say that by changing the tune in either direction could increase or decrease economy regardless of injectors.
